Samsung patents smartphone with bangs
If you take and compare two smartphones from leading brands, iPhone and Samsung. Then you immediately find striking differences. Each device or even a line of one brand has its own characteristic differences. The iPhone has an eyebrow that sets it apart from competitors in the mobile phone market.
Many companies that also make their phones, too, would like to create something fashionable and similar, for this reason, sometimes create not too similar, but still in a sense copies of well-known and well-sold devices.
So, all of 2018 was the year of bangs, everyone copied the design decision of the American company. Samsung did not follow in the footsteps of the American company and tried to defend its rights to the best design in other ways, for a whole year it somehow managed, but seeing that many people liked Apple's eyebrow, it also decided to patent something similar. It turns out that in the mobile device industry, everyone copies something from each other, if you can't be the best and ahead of everyone, then you can be a little worse, behind and not with such large profits. One way or another, the market works on the principle that you advertise better and sell more.
The Koreans apparently decided that the world was tired of the idea of American competitors and decided to update the idea a little and make good money on it again.
Now the Internet is actively writing about the fact that Samsung is patenting a new phone design, and this new solution echoes the" eyebrow " from Apple. While there is only a sketch of the smartphone, it will have a dual front camera. This block is inserted into a small cutout of the screen. The block will not be centered, but will be shifted to the right side.
Many patent solutions of Americans and Koreans are largely created in order to fight in the information field with competitors. In order to disperse their forces and distract from the main theme in the new device. And for this reason, perhaps the patent will remain something fake, something that will remain on paper for centuries.
There is no complete analogy with how the dual module is implemented, there are no similar devices yet, but it is possible that when this design is ready and goes into production, it will already have similar competitors in Europe, China or overseas.
Samsung is currently actively working to hide a good selfie camera under the phone screen. Work is underway and very active, probably in the next year they are not yet completed at 100%, so this year the phone from Samsung with a selfie camera of good quality under the screen we can not see as their ears. The technology is already working in principle with a loss of quality, but it is still raw and not a commercial option. When everything is worked out without complaints, then it will go into the series on real devices of the Korean brand.
