The polygon on the pole of Saturn has changed the color?
Earlier, in 2012 during the period of the mission of the unit, Cassini to Saturn, the North pole of this planet was discovered a huge, blue correct polyhedron. Recently, 4 years later the scientists looked again to the North pole of Saturn and saw the same regular polygon, but not blue color, the object was Golden.
Scientists compared images from the Cassini team for 2012 and the last in 2016, after comparing the feeling of the Apocalypse on the pole of the planet. Yet scientists attribute the color of this polygon with the fact that a long night on Saturn ends. If the color is different, it means that the pole formed many other particles that are different from those that were there in the penultimate period of observation.
From November 1995 until August 2009 and the North pole of Saturn, and lean over so that remained in the shadows from the Sun. During this period, the photochemical reaction – the interaction between light and elements in the atmosphere of a gas giant was sluggish – derivatives is not enough. This led to something similar like the ozone hole over Antarctica. Now, after the polygon is again exposed to solar radiation, chemical processes begin again on the rise and is what likely led to the change of color of the North pole.
