Seagate has released 10 TB hard disk for desktop computers
Until recently, the volume of the order of 10 TB on one drive was reserved for servers and data centers, but it is already in the distant past, we already have the first products focused on the end user. Seagate has announced that it is launching three new drive families Barracuda Pro – two of them are designed for network applications and data storage in security systems, but the third was made for typical desktop machines. New Barracuda Pro not than not particularly different, except of course the volume is a standard 3.5 inch disk rotating at a speed of 7200 rpm. 10 terabytes, but will guarantee an almost inexhaustible capacity for any average user. In order for you introduced how much this ROM compare your old 2TB drive with what you put and multiply it all by five! The result is simply impressive, if this drive is to score films, then you`ll watch them more than one year until all review:)
Naturally, when a similar product comes out as a novelty on the market, the price is also also just fabulous, but will take a couple of years, and these drives will become more available and are no longer a rarity, and commonness in home computer systems. Seagate collects to sell my Barracuda at a price of 535 $ – users who do not want two extra terabytes, could "only" guided earlier only 8TB drive but much more at an affordable price of $ 260. Although cheaper and the difference is only 2TB, the price increases almost twice. Wait until the will begin mass selling of these discs, then maybe the price will drop by 50%, but by the time I would probably be on the horizon loom the hard disk for 22 and again at a surprisingly fabulous price.
